President Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Amsterdam today on a three-day visit to the Netherlands. Following a ceremonial greeting at Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport, the President traveled to the Royal Palace.
Later, President Kovind visited the Keukenhof Tulip Garden, where the First Lady of India, Savita Kovind, christened a newly-bred tulip ‘Maitryee.’ This was to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India-Dutch diplomatic ties, as well as the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
