In the recently concluded 1st Global Taekwondo Virtual International Championship 2021, Rourkela girl Shalini Singh won Silver Medal in the under-30 female Poomsae event category. This international event was jointly organized by Odisha Taekwondo Association, Puri and Heroes Taekwondo Organization, Thailand from 22nd-27th December 2021.
More than 997 taekwondo athletes from 114 countries participated in this virtual championship
Shalini is a student of Nataraaj Taekwondo Academy, Rourkela and has trained under Coach Soumya Ranjan Moharana, who is also the owner of the academy.
