Tomorrow, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) will launch the first private rocket from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh, making history. The historic first private launch of the Vikram-suborbital (VKS) rocket will take place in Sriharikota, according to space minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, who will be there.
After PM Modi opened up the space sector to private investment in 2020, the Minister described it as a significant turning point in ISRO’s history.
A spin-stabilized solid propellant rocket in one stage, weighing around 550 kg. The rocket will reach a maximum height of 101 kilometres before crashing into the water. Launch lasts for a total of 300 seconds.
