On March 3rd, the HRD Center hosted Jalwa, a competition to test the workers’ intelligence, eloquence, elegance, and understanding of cultural heritage in honour of the upcoming International Women’s Day celebrations.
The tournament featured more than 20 employees, both men and women. The competitors astounded the audience with their energy, zest, and clever responses in addition to their stunning costumes and inventive presentations.
The competition’s judges were Mr. R K Patra, CGM (SMS-I), Mr. S S Roychoudhury, CGM (RMHP), and Mr. K K Sengupta, CGM (C&IT). The gathering was greeted by Ms. Rajashree Banerjee, CHM(HRD), who also provided a description of the competition’s regulations. The event was jointly handled by Mr. Batakrishna Giri, Deputy Manager, and Ms. Arnnapurna Behera, Senior Manager.
