Social worker Neeraj Chaturvedi was felicitated by Jai Prakash Hospital, Rourkela on 12th May 2022 during the celebration of International Nurses Day. He was honored for saving life of a seriously injured road accident victim on 21st April 2022.
Last week, he was presented with a ‘Letter of Appreciation’ by Rourkela DIG and Rourkela SP for his Good Samaritan act. Mr. Chaturvedi has received a lot of good wishes from the general public of the city as well.
On 21st April 2022, a man named Bashir was badly injured, when he met with an accident in the Sector 6 area of the city. And it was Mr. Chaturvedi, who rushed the victim to IGH Rourkela for preliminary treatment. Later on, the victim was transferred to Jai Prakash Hospital for further treatment.
